Trail Overview
#403 is a short spur trail off of #400 that goes straight up the face of a mountain to a ridge line to meet with ATV #321. The southwest end starts in a valley full of granite rock outcroppings and green grassy rolling hills. The views here are fantastic. The trail mostly goes straight up a set of rutted hill climbs full of bushes that whip your hands. The trail has ruts through the middle, making it troughed out and hard to pick a good line. It gets you on top of a ridge line that is more open rolling hills and ends on an ATV trail in a wide open meadow. The second big hill climb near the end goes straight up and you have to keep momentum. Overall it's an easier trail because it doesn't have any specific obstacles.
