Trail Overview
This is one of the longer single tracks in the trail system south of Wallace, Idaho. The east side of the trail starts out more like a very tight and windy two-track with lots of low branches. It turns into a narrow single track as it side-hills across a beautiful grassy mountainside with killer views of the mountain tops with jagged rock features. The trail starts to go along a spine and gets rockier and goes right along a rocky shelf with significant exposure. There's a section in the middle where the trail turns into two- a track width again with tons of loose rock and long climbs. Then it turns right onto an easy-to-miss unmarked trail of tiny single track that doesn't look very ridden but goes into some grassy open hillsides. This part of the trail is super narrow and easy to lose your front tire off the side as it side-hills the rest of the way. This is a really fun one, a highlight of riding this area, with awesome views. It was also clear of any logs or downfall.
