Trail Overview
Sunday Creek is a 3.6-mile-long singletrack that connects the Basin Butte Prospect Creek and Hay Knapp Creek singletracks. The majority of the trail goes through grassy meadows in a burn area, with frequent small stream crossings. Watch out for sudden muddy ruts or holes through the grass near the creek crossings. Parts of this trail are fast and flowy through the burn area, but it also has a lot of sections that are significantly rocky, making it one of the harder trails in the area. It has rocky hill climbs, shelfy side-hilling sections, and flat sections through grassy valleys, all with embedded boulders that you have to navigate. The rocks feel relentless at times and don't let up. There are also small logs that are down across the trail, but most are small enough that you can just ride right over them. Since it goes through a burn area almost the entire time, there's always the potential for more downfall here.

Difficulty
This is an intermediate single track because it's overall much rockier than some of the surrounding trails. There are embedded small boulders during the majority of the trail, making it harder to navigate the hill climbs and exposed sections.
