Trail Overview
Indian Creek Road located in one of the northern portions of Daniel Boone National Forest and is a popular local summer destination for camping, swimming, and fishing. The majority of the road is gravel, two vehicles wide, and well maintained. Camping spots are spread out along the entire length of the road and most are creek side. Please note that their is a UFS gate just at the beginning of Indian Creek Rd. and whether or not it is open can be unpredictable. Calling the district office is the best way to confirm vehicle access to this route. You can explore further upstream along Forest Rd. 9B, but a severe washout has this section closed to vehicles. Approximately halfway along the route, and close to campsite, some portable toilet facilities are available.
