Trail Overview

This is a part of the unmaintained county road, Maple Grove Road. This trail travels along Silver Creek and has many offshoots and playground areas. Large mud holes, hill climbs, the wall, and other fun places to flex your ride or take your rig. Going too far off the trails, you can find No Trespassing signs, as all property on either side of the main road/trail is private property. However, most owners overlook this as long as adventurers pay attention to the signage and maintain clean trails and fun.

Difficulty

Along the creek banks, you will find a few narrow areas and hazards from erosion. Larger rocks and ledges, less than 12" in diameter, can be found. Depending on the weather, creek crossings can become deep sometimes during the year.

History

This county road was once a highly traveled route for farmers along the fields and bottoms of the creek toward the Kentucky River. However, the trails and roads are now unmaintained, and many local ATV and SXS riders frequent the area.
