Trail Overview
This trail is a connector between the West Lake Southern Tip and Oxhead Lakes Trail. The trail is primarily a dirt road, with some sections that are more water saturated and could be evaluated during the spring or other wet times of the year. The trail is less developed than some of the other larger trails and is more accepting of single-vehicle traffic. Though this trail is listed as a connector, it does have a variety of spurs to be explored taking you further into the Maine woods. There are gates at the start and finish of the trail, which may be closed but not locked. As always, after passing, return the gate to how you found it.

Difficulty
Most of the road is single vehicle trail, which can get flooded and become water saturated. The wet areas don't necessarily look wet so take caution to evaluate unknown conditions.
