Trail Overview
NFS 5407 is a mystical trail located within the Manistee National Forest. Throughout most of the trail, you'll be engulfed in a thick section of forest that will make it feel like you're in a storybook. The trail traverses through this dense part of the forest with a few mud holes and a few tight sections, but it's similar to a typical Michigan 2-Track. Like most of these Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is a wonderful trail to explore and use your imagination!
