Trail Overview

This trail is a casual ride through the Manistee National Forest in northern Michigan. It's a single-lane two-track that winds through a section of the forest with lots of new-growth evergreen trees. It has some minor water, which could vary depending on the time of year or recent weather, but nothing to be concerned about. At about the halfway point of this trail, there is a fun little sand circle to play on. The trail surface varies between dirt, mud, and sand. In a few areas, the trees could be tight to the trail. Some nice open spots would make a great place for a picnic as well. While it is a single-lane trail, there are ample areas to pull over for oncoming traffic.
