Trail Overview
BLM 5 is an ATV trail in the Pipestone OHV area that is closed to full-width vehicles. It starts off at BLM 4 and winds down a hillside to the intersection with BLM 3. It's mostly a smooth and easy dirt trail, but the surface is uneven with little whoops. It's super easy for ATVs and dirt bikes. There are small pine trees and bushes with mountain views, but it's more like a high desert terrain. The trail has small dips, small gravelly rocks, and very mild hill climbing over the rolling hills. This is part of the loop to view the Ringing Rocks point of interest. This trail goes directly past the turnoff to view the Ringing Rocks on a spur trail near the north end. This is a busy route, so you'll want to constantly look out for oncoming traffic.
