Trail Overview
Corral Creek road draws its name from the corral at the north end of the road and offers access to beautiful views of the Missoula and Frenchtown areas as well as access to the Lolo National Forest. Whether you're looking for camping, hunting, or just looking for some fields of wildflowers, this is a great place to spend a day or weekend. Be sure to also check out the South Side Road or make this route a loop with the Albert Lothrop road. The road can be narrow in places which can become dangerous in snowy or icy conditions. Snow usually melts by mid to late spring but patches of snow can remain in areas that don't receive direct sunlight.
