Up Up Lookout Loop

Trail Overview

This is a single-track, maintained trail, but may have blowdown in the spring. It can be accessed by either side, and both sides of the trail are aggressive climbs that meet at the fire lookout. A small portion of the trail is a forest service road. Features include steep uphills, tight switchbacks and large roots. The fire lookout upper deck is locked, but amazing views can be had from the lookout steps. An outhouse, picnic table and fire ring are near the lookout as well. Cell service is available throughout most of the trail. The Saint Regis River is near the turnoff for the trail and has campsites and fishing available.
