Trail Overview
The Old Canyon trail, or FR 220, is an easy and well-established trail that connects FR 549 to the Array Loop. Dropping into Bolander Canyon and ending at Durfee Canyon in the Cibola National Forest, this trail has small water crossings depending on the time of year and numerous opportunities for dispersed camping in mixed pine and oak. You may see varied wildlife, including mule deer, elk, and turkey. This road crosses private land, so please be courteous, stay on established roads, and respect land markers and boundaries.
