Trail Overview
A slightly more challenging alternative to the middle section of Saddle Rock Canyon. Going north to south there is a nice little gatekeeper rock as soon as you turn off the wash. If you can clear this rock then you can complete the trail. Coming from the south this section is all downhill and the rock is at the end. The trail traverses a ridge with views of distant mountains and the Tyron copper mine. There are a couple of more challenging side trails if you wish to test your rig.

Difficulty
There is a good-sized rock at the beginning of a steep climb with a ledge or two. Recommended direction is north to south. As with most trails in the area, can be impassible following monsoon rains in July and August.
