Trail Overview
This is a labeled bypass along the Hell Roaring Rim Trail. Along the trail, drivers will see a steep climb through deeper sand. This bypass exists as a way around this obstacle. Travelers may want to use this bypass if their vehicle is a stock or cannot make it up the hill in wet conditions. This trail is one-way and connects back to the Hell Roaring Rim route in 0.8 miles. Cows may be on the trail or close to it, so be careful when passing.

Difficulty
Expect an uneven, rutted dirt trail mixed with slick rock and loose rock. There is potential for loose rocks, sandy washes, mud holes, and trail obstacles up to 12 inches, including ledges and short, steep grades. Roads are typically one vehicle wide and travel is one direction only.
