Trail Overview
This challenging out and back takes the adventurer from the Oak Patch Wash area to the hills. The views from the top are spectacular, and there is a small flat spot probably big enough for a single rig to camp. But beware, if you head up with a larger group, this turnaround point will not be adequate. The same applies to a larger, longer vehicle. The trail is very narrow with tight turns, steep hills, loose rocky climbs, and narrow ridges with off-camber sections. Many sections of this trail twist and turn tightly with sharp plants right along the trail's edge that may cause some paint damage. One bar of LTE cell service fades in and out.
