Trail Overview

This trail in Skagit County, Washington, takes you through dense lush forest, covered in thick mosses, sword ferns, and evergreen trees. Drivers can expect boulder-strewn pathways, deep muddy ruts, and large rock obstacles with bypasses. Due to limited parking on weekends, arriving early is recommended to secure a spot. A Discovery Pass is required to park at Walker Valley ORV.

Access Description

From Mount Vernon, Washington, follow SR-538/West College Way to WA-9 South. Make a left turn onto Lake Cavanaugh Road. Turn left onto Peter Burns Road and follow the gravel road to Walker Valley ORV trailhead.
