Trail Overview
The Meadow Creek Road begins in a Ponderosa Pine Forest with great camping. The road quickly descends into the Meadow Creek Valley and riparian area. The lushness of the riparian area contrasts nicely with the surrounding landscape. The road crosses the creek multiple times. At the junction with FS 89, the trail climbs out of the valley and gets a bit tougher. As the route continues to climb the road deteriorates to an overgrown two-track. You will get pinstripes as the close vegetation screeches down the sides of the vehicle. At the top, the road just ends. Lots of solitude and silence up there.

Difficulty
The first half of the trail is easy, I'd rate it a 3. The water crossings are shallow unless you go during the snow melt or right after a summer rain. The upper section is harder with some loose climbs and small ledges.
