Corkscrew Gulch, Hurricane Pass

No issues in a stock XTerra (no lockers). A little wetness / mud about a third the way up but not enough to cause any traction issues. Was pretty funny to be out there in the X… just us and tons of rental jeeps.

Started off on Ouray side off of 505, easy fun trail super dusty, also a quick elevation climb to the top and ends going through Animus Forks. Stock 4x4 with decent tires will handle this trail pretty easy just keep your head on a swivel on the switchbacks. One of the best views to have in the area highly recommend. Picture do not do it justice.

We recently took this route with my wife’s stock 4Runner, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic. Absolutely gorgeous! Fun trail- not particularly technical but technical enough to keep it interesting. Lived it!
