Trail Overview

The north section of this trail features beautiful,vast sand dunes. For more technical terrain, take the southern part of the route. There is a nice parking area with unloading ramps and picnic tables. Camping is allowed, and there is a BLM fee of $10 per day.

Access Description

Get off Interstate 10 at Exit 1, east of Colorado River. Follow south-side frontage road west 0.4 miles and turn left on Ox Bow Road. Continue south 1 mile and turn left atsign for Ehrenberg Sandbowl OHV Area. Staging just ahead.
