Trail Overview
On this trail, you will find all kinds of terrain--from lots of small to medium-sized rocks to dirt, sand, silt, and water crossings. It all depends on the time of the year you take this route. Be aware that some sections in the rainy season, especially after heavy rain, may be flooded and have lots of potholes--some of them hard to go across. Ask locals for advice on the road's condition if you are taking it after a rainy day. You will go across a few ranchos; be careful around them, as you may encounter some loose animals on your way. The views are beautiful in the area around the El Higuajil water dam--it's surrounded by small lakes.

Difficulty
It's a pretty diverse and fun trail to ride. It will be more challenging during rainy season. Just make sure you have some water and goodies just in case. Some potholes can become intimidating and cover the road. They are not very deep. Air down your tires for better handling of the vehicle. Expect some sections with lot of sand and silt.
