Trail Overview
1441 makes a short loop off of 1094 to get more epic views of the Paria Canyon. This 1.7-mile road is easy, being a windy dirt/sand trail through the pinyon pine, with a few sections that have small rocks in the trail. It goes along the rim of the Paria Canyon, with viewpoints to stop at all along to look down into the river gorge. The trail has a couple of slight grades with loose rock but is mostly flat. It's a bit tighter through the trees with quicker corners. The entire road goes along a wilderness boundary with the Vermillion Cliffs. Remember to park on the north side of the trail when stopping for the view because the south side of the track is wilderness.
