Trail Overview

This trail could easily be considered the smoothest road out here. Its sandy surface and regular grading make for an easy shot across the desert. At least for a section of it. There's an old corral you pass by around the middle, but otherwise, it's a mostly straight shot. Watch out for the one significant bend in the road closer to the gas pipeline facility. It's pretty sandy and loose. There are some quote narrow sections with very high walls that would make passing oncoming traffic nearly impossible, forcing you to either backup or get off-camber to allow oncoming to pass. There's plenty of Verizon LTE cell service.
