Trail Overview
This trail starts off of Grand Avenue and heads west into State Trust Land. Be sure to have your permit. The beginning of the trail is pretty smooth, but the further you go, the more difficult it becomes. The trail veers to the northwest at about 3.8 miles in. The scenery is a beautiful desert landscape, and you may even see some cattle along your trip. The trail ends at 271st Avenue, where the state has shut down the trail to conserve the landscape. If you go to the southwest, there is a private property with a locked gate. If you go to the northeast, you can take 271st all the way to Gates Road.
