Trail Overview
Dog Knobs is an easy trail, and it is predominantly one to two lanes wide. This area is interesting because it traverses between Hwy 180 to the Kaibab National Forest, but also provides insight into the newly constructed windmill farm that has been assembled nearby. Because of this, some of the roads have been altered and shored up to support the heavier trucks frequenting the area. There are numerous animals in the area, and whilst out exploring you might encounter deer, elk, antelope, cattle, jackrabbits, and prairie dogs. There are no obstacles on this trail, but also no cell service in the area, so offline maps are recommended.
