Trail Overview
FR 114 is a beautiful, winding mud and dirt trail that winds through the grasslands that border the Prescott National Forest. Working Eastward, up into the rolling hills of Juniper and mixed pine you'll see evidence of Antelope, Elk, deer, and numerous other wildlife creatures. Water runoff is prevalent here, especially in monsoon season, so swash crossings less than a foot deep are present and should be treated with caution, as they are typically filled with rocks that can shift under the weight of a vehicle. As you approach the hills, you'll be treated to more rocky terrain and rock-garden-type areas of the trail. Erosion may be present in these sections, making more technical driving a necessity.
