Trail Overview
This trail starts right off of North Castle Hot Springs Road, adjacent to the cattle guard. The entrance is not obvious, but if you look close, you can see it going off the edge and down towards the wash. Eventually, it pops out onto a well-traveled two-track at the north end of the trail. In between, you have a lot of awesome trail that winds it's way up and down the hills, through the wash, and along the side of the hills, creating a small bit of exposure, here and there, but nothing crazy. You'll encounter the usual deep rutted spots that seem to be common in this area due to the soil composition. There are a couple of quite difficult climbs that include small ledges, but if you manage to pick the right line, they aren't ridiculously difficult. Overall, it is an enjoyable trail with challenging sections.

Difficulty
Overall it's not too crazy, but there are a couple of spots that definitely bring the rating to an almost "7" but not quite.
