Trail Overview
Schnebly Terraces Trail is a portion of Forest Road 153A and connects with Schnebly Hill Trail and Rock Garden Loop which are both guided trails. The Southern part of this trail is mainly a semi-rough dirt trail with the potential for several mud holes. As you travel North, this trail becomes more technical with large, uneven rock outcroppings all over the trail. These areas of rock outcroppings resemble large uneven rock stairs that require you to pick a good line to avoid bumps and scraps on your rig. There are also rock gardens sprinkled throughout the Northern sections as well. There are many rocks that have had undercarriages smash them judging by the scraps on the rock's surfaces. High clearance 4WD is required for this trail. The majority of this trail has amazing views of the Sedona area and Munds Mountain.
