Trail Overview

This trail is an exciting ride through a narrow canyon (officially closed to vehicles over 60") and climbing up to a wonderful vista that contains a memorial for a beloved canine companion. The trail features a gentle climb through the canyon and completes with a somewhat technical steep climb up to a nice mesa, and then a descent back to the canyon floor to intersect with Trail 388. The Vegetation along the trail consists of a grove of mature and beautiful saguaro cacti as well as several other desert native plants. The canyon itself features very steep walls with interesting geology and some great moss-rock specimens. All in all, this is a wonder ride that you will truly enjoy.

Difficulty

Most of the trail itself is pretty easy, however, there are some sections in the canyon that require you to be very careful as the canyon walls are only 62" wide, and the climb at the end of the trail has some deep ruts that require you to choose a good line to ensure you don't get too off-camber.
