Trail Overview
The Offshoot might seem wide and open on the north end, and it is--for about 100 meters. This trail quickly narrows into a paint damage-guaranteed situation with little to no place to turn around. You'll be peppered by creosote and small bushes with spines on them that will rake your vehicle. There are no obstacles in this section of trail and it ends at an impassable wash drop. Presumably, this would connect with the main wash further south. There is no cell service in this area, so offline maps are suggested.

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained, narrow trail that guarantees paint damage. This trail could become more gnarly if nature reclaims more of it, or if washouts grow more with moisture events. It's narrow and has very few places to pass or turn around.
