Trail Overview

The Grounds Creek FSR 2068 is a gravel forestry route leading to the hilltop north of Grounds Creek, which is located north of the Pine Union area in the Fredericktown Sector of Mark Twain National Forest. The main use of the road is for apparent hunting purposes in the area, though it does have a few small obstacles along the way including a mild hill climb and a few small water collection spots. Where the trail really shines is in the campsite cut-out game, they are plentiful and would be a better option if you planned to spend the night on one of these trails, over a campsite cut-out at the Pine Union which has much more popularity.
