Trail Overview
This is the entrance to a multitude of different adventures on Segmiller Mountain and lots of trails to the south and east. At the start of this trail, you are near the historic town of Wolf Hole. This was a small settlement that was built to service the ranchers and prospectors in the late 1800s. There was even a post office on the pony express route. This land is still used by ranchers. The water is not fit for human consumption in this area as it has high levels of gypsum. This is a fun track with interesting views. At the end is one of the numerous springs that occupy this area. This trail does go through private property, so please be mindful of your speed and dust.

Difficulty
The road is primarily dirt. There are approximately 5 gates so please close them after passing through as this area is inhabited by many cattle. Almost any higher clearance vehicle can traverse this road but be advised that any trails beyond this track are much more difficult and quickly turn hazardous for street type tires. This trail does turn muddy if there is precipitation.
