Trail Overview
Big Bear is a 0.7-mile trail in the Kelly Motorized Trail System with over 10 switchbacks. This trail gets less ridden because it's a spur off of Interstate that doesn't really go anywhere. It's pretty flat, only gaining 125 feet of elevation even with all the switchbacks. The switchbacks are pretty wide and easy, but the challenge of this trail comes from so many downed logs since this trail goes through a burn area and doesn't get used very often. The trail is faint at times and hard to find. There isn't really a view at the top, but it does get rockier at the top as well. Ride this one if looking for log practice.
