Trail Overview
The Hyde Mountain Lo trail is a mellow trail that winds and weaves its way through a beautiful section of the Prescott National Forest. This section is made up of mostly ponderosa pines. You may need to do some route finding, as trail damage from a recent fire and current logging activities have changed the landscape somewhat. It's important to note that neither of the nearby ranger stations is still there; only foundations are left, and they might be used as level campsite areas if you're planning on an overnight. There are wash crossings, but nothing too gnarly.

Difficulty
This is an unmaintained trail that goes through a burn scar and logging area. Lots of downed trees exist, as well low tree stumps in loose dirt that might prove challenging after a rain or snow event. There is no cell service in the area, so use of offline maps is urged.
